Our CEO
William A. Scott, II, founded Global Executive staffing in 2012 to fill a void in the professional recruitment industry. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Scott’s vision was to create a space where former military personnel could use their skills to benefit private businesses, federal agencies and the defense industry. The St. Louis, MO native established GES with one local contract and has since expanded operations from the mid-Atlantic to western regions of the country.
Scott attributes his work ethic to midwestern roots and picturesque summers he spent working on his grandparents’ farm in Monroe, La. He vividly recalls rising at 5 a.m. to help maintain the family farm. The tenacity and consistency he gained from that experience informs his hyper-focus on customers as a business owner.
Scott’s ability to meet the needs of his customers also reflects a meticulous attention to detail that earned him a Superior rating for his work as an AntiTerrorism Force Protection/Emergency Manager for the Defense Health Agency. His zeal for meeting customer requirements is replicated throughout the organization and is evident in the relationships GES enjoys with the various federal agencies and businesses it serves.
Scott earned a Master of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix. He also holds Graduate certificates from Harvard University and George Washington University in the areas of Radiological Emergency Planning: Terrorism, Security and Communication and Homeland Security Emergency Preparedness and Response, respectively.
